Do Something Different

The 29th February. A day to Do Something Different.

Traditionally in Scotland this is the day that a single girl can ask a man to marry her.

Can’t think of anyone offhand to ask, but will keep it in mind for the rest of the day just in case someone fabulous hoves into view.

So what am I going to do today?

Well I’m off for yet another visit to the dreaded Dental Hospital. Believe me folks when I say that I am more than heartily sick of this and wish it were all over with. It is beginning to pull me down. Being blessed with an over active imagination at the best of times I am apt to fall into the mire that is worry.

Will it be good news this week, or more of the ‘oh dear, never mind, we’re doing our best’ type words that echo round your head like some mordant mantra and pull you steadily into that quicksand.

I hope it’s the former.

So what am I going to do today that is different? Well today I am going to climb the seven flights of stairs to the clinic. I know I think (oh for about 2 minutes) about this every week whilst waiting for the lift, but today I will do it. Climb that hill!!!

So why the horse image on this post? No reason really, there I am being different again, putting up a photo with no relevance to the posting (goodness whatever next, might have to ask someone to marry me after all, just to keep up with all this being different stuff. Hmmmmmmm maybe not…….). Anyway I digress, back to the image. I just love it. Took this pic of a Hermes poster in Glasgow last week, I think it’s beautiful. There isn’t that enough reason to have it here.
