After all the gorgeous sunshine of last week and right up till Monday, this was yesterday up here on Walton’s Mountain. Snow, snow, snow and howling winds. It was a bit like being inside a snow globe when someone shakes it up. The snow was swirling in every direction as if it couldn’t choose where to land. And cold, oh cold, cold cold.
Actually we were very lucky as friends further north had massive amounts of snow and lost their power too.
Such are the joys of unpredictable Spring weather. I owe Idgy one, she bet me last week that it would snow very soon. Of course from my basking pose in the garden last Wednesday I scoffed and laughed and carried on sipping my G & T in the sun.
Hmmmmmm hate it when she’s right yet again.
